An application for guiding and supporting woman on their lifestyle journey at the "Laptin for Life" program.

Have you ever used an app with a great concept but a frustrating user experience?

Despite its potential, the Fit Mom app (from Laptin for Life) cause users feeling confused and frustrated due to poor navigation and lack of integration with everyday tools.

After experiencing these challenges myself, I set out to redesign the app with a new product strategy, a clearer vision, and a more user-friendly design.

The Problem

The existing application is highly cumbersome in terms of navigation and file display.
Its usability is poor, making it difficult for users to understand their tasks and follow the overall process.

My Goal

Creating a new product strategy that leverages modern technologies, improving the support and usability of the Fit Mom app, making it a seamless part of users' everyday lives.

Our Users

Client - "Fit Mom" - A busy woman looking to maintain a healthy lifestyle through a fitness and toning program.

Coach - A fitness professional providing personalized support and guidance to multiple clients through the app.

Pain Points to Goals

Difficulty finding content

Users had to access content through external files, making it combersome and disrupting the experience.

Navigation

Redesigned the app to be more user-friendly, making it easier for users to access contents and find their tasks.

Disconnected from daily life

The app did not integrate with commonly used tools, missing opportunities to simplify users' daily routines and help them stay on track with their fitness goals.

In-App Content Access

Integrated all program materials directly into the app, eliminating the need for users to download files or seek information through external sources like WhatsApp groups

Limited coach support

The current app lacked advanced tools that could enhance communication and support between the coach and clients.

AI-Powered Coach Dashboard

Built an AI-based dashboard for coaches to provide personalized support, allowing them to track all user progress, send reminders, and offer tailored encouragement to Fit Moms.

Home Page

The new home page displays the weekly tasks with a clear CTA for daily videos content and tasks.
After watching the daily video, users receive their updated weekly and daily tasks directly on the home page.
A global search feature and intuitive footer navigation make finding information effortless.

The GOAL is always in sight
At the top of the screen, the personal goal is presented - defined at the beginning of the program and remains consistently visible.
This goal is set using free text and paired with either a selected image from the app’s library or an uploaded image, creating a personalized and motivating touchpoint throughout the experience.

Outcome

The redesigned Fit Mom app is just the beginning. There is room to further refine the product, explore additional integrations, and continuously gather user feedback to ensure it remains a valuable tool for every "Fit Mom" on their fitness journey at the “Laptin for Life” program.
I believe that enhancing the application's user experience to better fit naturally into participants’ daily routines can significantly improve engagement, task completion, and ultimately - results.
